8 June - Back to Manning Gorge

Saturday 8 June:

Peter went barramundi fishing in a helicopter.  He managed a couple of bites but no catches. (Apparently it didn't look like this.)

We left in a convoy of five vehicles on Thursday afternoon and had three of the five vehicles bogged after managing to go about 10km in an hour. It ended up taking four hours to get everyone through the bog.  We also got stuck in a creek and had two flat tires after we were pulled out.  Camped out overnight and got back the following afternoon (yesterday).

Now resting and recovering at Manning Gorge.  Glad to be back but had a fantastic time in the bush.
